Today, we read Pat Them Gently. It was about asking before petting an animal, petting it gently, and not chasing or hitting it. We practiced this on our puppy and then also talked about using nice, gentle hands with our friends. In small groups, we put puzzles together. One group did animal puzzles and the other group did the Peek-a-Boo family puzzle. It was exciting to pick up the puzzle pieces and find our families under them. We also drew with chalk on paper that was hanging from the easel and the wall.
