This week we are exploring camping. We sang "A Camping We Will Go" and read Camping Out. We set up a tent at circle time and then we all squeezed inside! We made shadow puppets inside of our tent with a wind-up flashlight. This was a good activity to teach turn-taking and waiting since the kids were excited about using the flashlight. We also did a camping gear matching activity. We used our conginitive skills to identify visual images that are the same and different.
