Striped Thursday! This morning, we sang, danced, and jumped up and down with rhythm sticks. At circle time, we read One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, talked about triangles and looked at all of the stripes we wore today. We did an activity that we called "What can we do with stripes?" where we stacked stripes (strips of cardstock) in different directions. Some friends made shapes with them. We colored with markers on paper towels and then painted them with water causing the color to spread on the paper towel. We really enjoy water painting and cause and effect processes!
