Happy Halloween! We trick or treated at the courthouse. It was so much fun! Thanks to all families that were able to help us go on this field trip. When we returned to school we played pumpkin bowling, read Halloween books, sang and danced to "Five Little Pumpkins", when on a numbered ghost walk, we also did Halloween puzzles and had spooky sack lunches! It was spook-tacular!

Today we sang the "Spider Song" with Popsicle sticks and a spider on the end, we made the spiders crawl on our heads, toes and noses etc. along with the song. We counted bugs as we dished them into trays with tongs. Our class read Mouse's First Halloween. We also carved a pumpkin! Most of our toddlers loved getting their hands into the pumpkin guts. We had a wonderful day!

We hopped like crickets on bubble wrap, although some of the toddlers didn't like the popping sound. Our class also sorted diurnal(day) and nocturnal(night)animals. We had a great day!
