Today is rain and rainbow's day we went on a color hunt. We went around the room and looked for colors that were in a rainbow. We also went on a rainbow search. Once we went on a our search our end goal was to find the pot of gold. We had so much fun Also we painted a little with our hands and with our brushes. Another thing we did was we finished making our colorful spaghetti noodle. They all loved getting in there mixing and squishing all the colors around.

Today we measured soil, poured it into cups, planted seeds, and water them. When we poured the water we talked about how the water is like the rain outside and how rain is food for the plants outside. We also played outside and in the motor room. We had a lot of fun swinging and jumping on the trampoline.

We finished up our sail boat today unfortunately it would not fit in our cave. Well we had a great time this week putting it together and that is all the matters. Today we did a little stamping and talked about each stamp and how the boats are different from each other. They really enjoyed that because they chose what boat they wanted to use. We also put all the last touches on our boat projects for the week. We also searched through our moon sand to find some buried treasure. We will have to do that again they could not get enough of it. We had so much fun plus
we learned a lot about water and boats and can not wait until the weather warms up.

Today we continued working on our sail boats, we almost have them finished. We also lined up our chairs and sang "row, row, row your boat" as we were singing we were rowing our pretend boat. we started working on our egg carton sail boats we had a lot of fun painting. We did not use any regular paint brush and the children thought it was very amusing.

Today we got very active in the motor room. We are all little jumpers so everyone loves the trampoline.
The trampoline is usually the first thing they all want to do. We started on making our sail boats today. First thing we needed to do was make a sail's for our boats.
We all got really creative and worked together as a team. We played a matching game comparing boats by big or small. Hopefully tomorrow we can finish up our two sail boats and get out on the water.

Today we got together and washed our baby dolls. Our babies really needed us to give them a bath, A few of the girls grabbed sponges and started cleaning away.
They really enjoyed playing in the water and making soap bubbles. While some of us were washing our babies others were just playing in the water. We had a lot of fun filling up buckets and dumping them into smaller buckets. Of course we did have a few little ones trying to get in the water tub. We also sat down and read a few books about boats. We can not wait until summer then we can have a water day outside. Overall we had a very fun filled water day! :)

This week is Boats Week. Today we made blue playdough to represent water! We poured and mixed ingredients and after Miss Robin cooked if for us we let it cool and then played with it. We cut, rolled, squished and squeezed! We read one of our books for the week, Boats. Some of our little friends also started making hand print sail boats.

Today was an interesting day. We talked about how birds are different from butterfly's. We played a matching game where they had to match the birds with the right color. They all did really great with there matching. We also had a blast reading a book called Eyes & Nose, Fingers & Toes. We all stood up and followed along pointing and wiggling to all of our body parts. Plus the children really enjoyed the new books we got down for them to read. Sorry for the lack of pictures we had a problem with the camera today.
