Pom-Poms and Turkey Feathers

Today we had a lot of fun making our feather for our turkey. We used actual feathers for the turkey. The children had a blast plus we even got to tickle each other with our feathers. We did some pom- pom sorting today. We sorted colors and sizes in different containers. They were very proud of them selfs today and everything they had accomplished.

Treasure Basket

Treasure Basket was the Item of the day in the I/T room. We finished up our  hand print turkey's and  we started  working on our classroom turkey but the treasure basket was the object of their eye most of the day. We had a really great day we read the book where does a turkey go? which they loved they were looking all over the page to find the turkey.

Leaves & Turkeys

Today was a fun, interesting day. We needed to make some room for our turkey so we took down our tree. The babies thought it would be a fun idea to place the tree on the floor and put the leaves on and off the tree. Later on in the day we painted with our hands, making handprint turkeys.

What We Did Today Nov. 12, 2012

Today we had a fun day! We made music with our drums and shaky eggs, read Five Little Ducks, we practiced jumping off of our motor blocks and balancing on our stepping stones.

What We Did Today Nov. 8, 2012

This morning we sang and danced to nursery rhymes. We also continued to work on our new door decoration. We will be finishing it up tomorrow for everyone to see! Our little friends decided we were going to read Baby Signs for Animals today. They enjoy doing the signs, naming the animals, and making the animal sounds.

What We Did Today Nov. 7, 2012

Today one of our little friends started a trend of playing "Giddy Up Horsey!" We sang "Jack and Jill Went Up the Hill" and read Big Bird's Mother Goose Tales. We also got messy painting! We took Frankenstein off our door and we are making a new door decoration for the fall season! What do you think it will be? You'll just have to wait and see! =)

Today we read Five Little Ducks, sang "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and made our own nursery rhyme pictures with felt boards.

Today we read Baa, Baa Black Sheep and sang "Mary Had a Little Lamb." 

We made our very own little lambs too. 

Nov. 2 2012 Newsletter

This week was a hoot! Check out what we did!

We had a blast today! We sang and danced and worked our motor skills all day! We decided it would be fun to swing into the weekend!

November 1st 2012

Today we got crafty with our hands and feet. So Mom, Dad they may need their feet cleaned there might be some paint on those toes. We are finishing out this week with pumpkins so we sang and danced to the song Five Little Pumpkins. But we did not forget to put on The Monster Mash and stomp around the room like monsters.  We are getting ready for thanksgiving so our book for the day was Feast for Ten. Everyone enjoyed reading the book and counting along with it. :)  Overall we had a pretty playful, fun day.
