Today, during circle time we watched a video that was called All About Sports. For our first small group activity, we explored jello and golf balls in the sensory bin! In our second small group, we counted the laces on a football, and then found the matching picture. For our final small group, we matched footballs by identifying letters. We also celebrated a friend's last day and birthday today! We had a great day!

Today, during circle time we read Let's Play Basketball. For our first small group activity, we laced basketballs, soccer balls, and footballs. For our second small group activity, we counted soccer balls and identified the number written on the soccer goal. For our final small group activity, we rolled different types of balls down a ramp and talked about which one went the fastest.

Today, during circle time we watched the video book of Froggy Plays Ball. For our first small group activity, we matched pictures of different sports equipment to their names. For our second small group, we matched and identified pictures of different sports related equipment. For our final small group, we played tray hockey! We had a sports-tastic day.











Monday, January 28, 2019

Today, during circle time we read Froggy Plays T-ball. For our first small group activity, we used golf balls to paint pictures with! We used them to stamp or let them roll across our paper to make a design.  For our second small group activity, we looked at pictures of different balls and picked the one that was different from the rest. For our final small group activity, we practiced tracing our letter of the week, "U". We had a marvelous Monday.

Today, during circle time we watched a video to learn all about South Asia. Our activities were also focused around South Asia and were super fun. For our first activity, we got to make our very own sushi with cotton balls and cut outs of different sushi fillings/ toppings. For our second small group, we used chopsticks to pick up pom-pom balls by rolling the dice to determine how many we needed to get. For our final small group, we traced the letter T and covered it with rice! We had a fantastic Friday.
