To continue our week, we read Big Bugs at circle time. We looked at pictures and discussed some of the largest bugs in the world. As our first small group activity, we went on a bug search! We used magnifying glasses, and our best knowledge of bug homes, to see what we could find. A special guest even visited us outside and showed us a rhinoceros beetle that we will get to display in the classroom for the next few days! We sorted bugs in the second small group, some by color, some by size, some by type, and also by similarities. Then, in our last activity, we worked on letter recognition and matching to spell bug names. We had a wonderful Wednesday!
