Today, during circle time we read Windows of Color. For one of our small groups we did splat art! We hit dots with hammers and identified what color paint came out from underneath it. For our other small group we did a balloon experiment with vinegar and baking soda. For our large group, we drew with markers that had letters on them. We had a fantastic day!

Today, during circle time we read ABC's  . For one of our small groups we made patterns using pictures of items at a carnival. For our other small group we did a science experiment that looked like popcorn! For our large group, we made popcorn out of cotton balls, and then used yellow food coloring to make butter! During our gross motor time, we did an obstacle course like you'd see at a carnival! We had an amazing day.

Today, during circle time we read If You're Happy and You Know It. For one of our small groups we did a science experiment, it made foam, and looked like an elephant trunk! For our other small group we counted by using animal crackers. For our large group, we made the manes of tigers with pieces of orange paper! We had a super fun day!

-CLC will be closed this Friday the 27th, along with Monday and Tuesday the 30th and 31st. 

Today, during circle time we read ABC's by Dr. Seuss. For one of our small groups, we matched capital and lower-case letters together. For our other small group we practiced our lacing skills and made clowns with bead arms. For our last small group, we made cotton candy out of pink and blue colored shaving cream. We had a very eventful Monday!

Today, during circle time we read In a Small, Small Pond. For one of our small groups we explored a pond in the sensory bin. For our other small group we sorted pictures by what things were in a pond, and what things were not. For our last small group, we sorted pictures of different animals and plants. We had a fantastic Friday.

Today, during circle time we read A Frog in the Bog. For one of our small groups we did a waterlily experiment. For our other small group, we fed frogs. We rolled dice, and whatever number it landed on, we fed that many bugs to the frogs. For our large group, we made fancy frogs! We had a hopping good day(:
